 | Tuesday 5 June 2007 at 9:30pm was when Mick Molloy's new comedy show The Nation began airing on the Nine Network. The Nation was hosted by Mick Molloy and had a large cast including Nikki, Akmal Saleh, Jackie O, Tiffany Cherry, Gary Eck, Paul Calleja and Pete Smith. Nikki made brief apperances in sketches for the show. Nikki was absent for episodes 10-12, but returned for the final show. Unfortunately, ratings slowly dropped after the first episode and continued to drop dramatically which trigged the decision to cease broadcast of The Nation. On the 29 August 2007 only after 13 episodes The Nation was off air. |
